For sale is a Jayne Cobb Hat, an orange knit hat with ear flaps as seen on the Firefly episode The Message by Joss Whedon. Jayne Cobb also know as the Hero of Canton, is part of Malcolm Reynolds' crew aboard the Serenity. In between jobs the crew of the Serenity stopped in to pick up supplies and mail. Jayne received a package from his mother. In it was a note and a knit hat. Upon seeing the hat, Wash the pilot of the Serenity and husband of Zoe Alleyne Washburne is quoted as saying "A man walks down the street in that hat, people know he's not afraid of anything."
